I'm considering taking a trip up there some time during the summer of 2025 and if my dream of living near Lake Superior comes true then Duluth may be the only city with a decent job market.

Is Duluth a good place to visit and live? It looks like a gorgeous area and I would be very sad if it the city became a nigger shithole like the Twin Cities.

If I move there, I promise to always complain about it to prevent more people from coming.

I've been through Duluth and Superior, WI. I liked Superior more, seems more blue collar, MN is commie central. Lots of woke shit there, even though stats say it's full of Whites.

If you like snow you want to be further East so you get the lake effect. The land and nature up there is beautiful, you have to really like the Winter to make the most of it. If you like to snowboard, snow ski, or snowmobile it's a paradise. I've never been there in the summer but in the Winter you can expect some of the best snow in the country, it's just not on a real mountain so there's not a lot of vert.

Lake Superior is always cool, even in the summer.

People up there are hardcore. I went on a ski/snowboard trip and it was in the 10s and they were in Lake Superior in dry suits surfing.
