Got an old Thinkpad that's soon retiring from gaming and I've been thinking about giving OpenBSD a try. I've been using various Linux distros for almost 5 years now (mostly Debian-based ones) and the BSD system doesn't seem too different from Linux. Is it worth a shot?

It has been a long while, the last time I setup a BSD system it defaulted to off instead of on. The security was great, but remembering what and where to turn on ports, permissions, etc. It was a week long setup.
