My go-to binoculars ended up falling and becoming uncollimated beyond repair although I wouldn't even know where to bring them. They're an old Japanese import from in the early '80s. Anyway, I need a new pair, mostly just viewing terrestrial things and use on a river Cruise boat. Boat shoreline about a half mile away. To nothing with crazy magnification just to be able to make out building structures. I hope this ask makes sense. The only thing I found on Amazon is either really expensive or really cheap both aren't really options. Thanks y'all.

I have a pair of Nikons. Forget the model number but they're 8 power, I think they were $120 new five years back. So probably $200 now. Decent glass.

I just bought 2 pairs of Nikons. Wanting to do a shootout when they get in to see which might be better. Each was sub $120
