Do you know where that saying comes from? Stanley and Livingstone. Nobody ever talks about Stanley and Livingstone. "Dr. Livingstone, I presume." is a saying meant as tongue-in-cheek for when a reporter (Henry Stanley) went searching for Dr. Livingstone in Africa and found him years later among a tribe of local niggers. He was the only other White man in a thousand miles. So it had to be him, right? I presume.
