I have the same problem with my Dad. He gets pissed off and starts lecturing the pajeets, and then he tells me about it later like he won some kind of moral victory.

Tell him the scammer gets paid by the amount of time he keeps people on the phone. In many places the scammer need to keep a mark on the phone for a minimum amount of time or they will not get paid for that pay period.
