Maybe he did leave for some other reason, maybe something bad happened to him. But I don't think people on here ganging up on him and antagonizing him helped whatever situation he is going through in real life, either.
I think sometimes we all forget that there is another human on the other end of these posts, going through real life human problems and woes, and it is easy to treat other people as a meme of the personality they project on here. And sometimes it doesn't help when Poal is your only outlet to vent on, and everyone is just berating you over ultimately meaningless bullshit.
But yeah, I was wrong.
Good on you, and yes you are correct.
I think also you may have woken some of us up to wanting to contribute more here in general, I know your post did for me. I'll do better.
