Hot.

But it doesn't scale, what happens to the excess men if it's the norm? The Mormon cults just exile them. Not a great thing to do to your own.

Also western women would hate it in profound ways. They're not going to go for it unless things are so bad the alternative is starvation or sleeping in the woods.

So yeah. I'd love to have a harem but it's a troubled and unrealistic system.
