yeah to add on Ephesians 5:35 Husbands love your wives as Christ loves the body of believers. My take on this is loving my wife like Jesus loves me. Its a high mark to hit, but a constant reminder to love and lead with the tender compassion that it requires as Jesus loves for me. Knowing my imperfections and constant failures, I should not hold grudges or nit-pick her as Jesus does not on my behalf. Also as we are God's children, Jesus loves us as such. We are to love out wives in this same vain. Emotional and immature as we are, Jesus still loves and guides us. So wee as husbands must love our wives in their immature and emotional states as well. Having enduring patience as Christ has unending patience for us.
