notifications, data collection and the apps pre-load a bunch of garbage assets, which is fast than the JavaScript/React bloated mobile website.

I use LineageOS, have no Google services and run most apps off of F-Droid, with a couple from Amazon. If you really need stuff from the Google store, Auora Store works okay. It's kinda nice. I rarely use my phone for anything except podcasts, chat and photos.
