So I've heard this term a couple of times and usually it's spoken by a guy that looks like he shoots deer out of his bathroom window. That they were running their dogs in the moonlight. So what do you all think the real meaning of running your dogs at night is?

That's a weird thing to say. It means they letting loose their inhibitions.

So the dogs are in fact the people? Little bit of moonshine and some fiddle, pants off and run through the shrubs?
