Would you make the move? I'm looking for descent places to move that include the following: - Distinct 4 seasons - Some hills/mountains - European culture - Good gun/self defense laws - Fertile land - Descent cost of living - A place where you can actually ground your feet and not worry about fire-ants - Homeschooling laws that are descent.

Move there, it's not bad. Better than Philly.

Pittsburgh is a nice place to visit. Very scenic, kind of cool newer hip downtown area, sportsball if youre into that. But I wouldn't live there. Vast areas of 50+ year old homes that have barely been maintained, and a general lack of infrastructure investment. Plus, most of the smarter folks left town years ago as jobs dries up after the steel factories shut down. Nowadays everyone seems to work at one of the hospitals, universities, or supporting them somehow. I don't think there are any major industries producing anything in Pittsburgh anymore.
