The complete understanding would need to go back to Napoleon, through the 1848 revolutions, Austro-Prussian War and the alliance system, WWI, and then Weimar.

This is what we are not taught. We are taught each event is it's own sandboxed situation and event. The reality is, all are connected and were all created by the same dark forces.

WWII is a legal continuation of WWI. So on and so...

I would recommend this as even better. it starts off as a kind of collection of major players in the UK side of the anglo-american establishment and moves on to the development of World War II. the part about the creation of World War II is one of the most intense things I've ever read.
