Who cares about 8ft of lumber or drywall? You don't have to be a tradesman to use a truck. The true definition of a pick up truck is a body on frame vehicle with a bed and a tailgate. I do transport 14 foot trees that I'm planting on my property in my truck with those heavy root balls but my bed is only 5.3. But it's still a fucking truck.
