Sell it to a stripper then sell it to the company. Strippers are good at laundry.
What if you opened an llc and it owned the domain?
It's relatively cheap in my state, but it seems like a lot of work, and would take a good bit of time. Also a third party would need to file it so the owner's name can remain anonymous and there's no one I trust enough to be the registered agent that isn't related. I feel like getting a lawyer to do it would end up costing a fortune.
I do have a friend in another state with an existing LLC. Think he'd get BTFO come tax time if I transferred to his LLC and he sold it? I'd trust him to send me the money minus his cut.
Anyone ever own one anonymously?
Did this theoretical person (definitely not you) purchase the website because they had insider information that their company would want it?
From what I hear from this person who is definitely not me, no. A manager sent out a LinkedIn blast a week before it was official. Any of his hundreds of connections would have known.
You can ask on Namepros for someone there to broker it for you privately, but they will probably want 15% commission.
