I love rowing. I can decide whether to focus on arms, legs, back, core, or a combination of all of them to maintain a consistent pace. Have been looking for a used concept2 rower for home use since they are my favorite and considered the pinnacle of rowers. Prices are not discounted much bc they hold their value well so I may just buy a new one before winter comes around.

Is that the one with the water? What the pedo actor from usual suspects had in that one TV show about the presidency?

No not a water resistance one. Those I consider nice if you like the sound of 2ater.and are concerned about aesthetics since the wooden water based ones are absolutely gorgeous in their craftsmanship.

The concept2 has a chain and most used by crossfit gyms, rowing teams (crew) for universities. They are relatively quiet as well since uses a fan for resistance and well priced at about $1,100 US. https://pic8.co/sh/ghw6xJ.jpg Concept2 can also be folded when not in use. https://pic8.co/sh/d38xVd.jpg

Yeah, those water resistance ones look pretty nice.

Last year I started using a WaterRower I bought years ago. I did the beginner Pete Plan and now follow his "routine" plan. Still getting PRs! I do find it quite boring though, but I make it through because I'm proud of my continued progress.

edit: "mighty White of me!"

Try to do 500 meters in 90 seconds. You don't notice it until about 30-45 seconds in and then it's murder.

I've done it in 1:31 and yeah holy shit the 500s

Great stuff brother. Once form is worked out its nice/fun to compete against your own records. I do find most cardio to be quite boring, but strangely have never had that problem with rowing (or trail running) . I usually sprint for 20 to 30 minutes and cruise for an extra 20 minutes 6x per week
