Is this a repost?

Idk but there’s been a ton of shit that I’ve had dreams about that actually became reality, like the most mundane, minuscule dreams

Me too. Doesn't really happen anymore but when I was a teenager it happened all the time.

What’s the difference between deja vu and the monotony of life?

No but I feel like I've seen this post before.

Several times. It'll happen then I'll think I've already been here before. What I just witnessed has already happened but I won't know until it does happen. Very eery. I don't see the point of deja Vu though. Why should I know something will happen but I won't know I'm aware until it does happen?

I have experienced the sensation. I make it stop by concentrating on what will happen next. The logic behind this is that if I have am having a premonition of the future, that is to say, I am remembering doing things that I have yet to do, I should be able to recall what will happen next.

I suspect the sensation is caused by an over active hippocampus. Normally the hippocampus produces long-term memory during sleep. Déjà vu could be the process occurring while awake.

If Pete and Repeat are sitting in a boat and Pete fell out, who's left?

All seriousness, I used to have many episodes of deja Vu. I'd dream then it would come true within months. I don't dream much nowadays.
