i love lemon anythings, that sounds divine!
I went a little heavy on the lemon juice by mistake, but it was great on the shortbread! Wet and tart with dry and mellow!
doesnt sound half bad, i'd eat that no problem. We have a keylime tree in our yard and i cant wait for it to bless us for the season which should be in a couple months. keylime everything! i like to use it to make buttermilk. that might not be as good as lemon for sugar cookies when i made it but it was really good. wait, whats the difference between sugar cookies and short bread?
Shortbread is far more dense, doesn't rise. Not as many ingredients as sugar cookies, if I recall. You literally have to poke holes in shortbread to aerate it.
