Man you don't fear public speaking, you fear embarrassing yourself in front of a group of people.
Either come to terms that the group of people doesn't matter (you don't live in a small village of 50 people who know you by name and will ruin your livelihood), or divest yourself from the ideas that you will be presenting.
You are not a sum of the ideas, and they do not reflect on you. They are the subject matter and you are just presenting the facts for the group of people that will be only partially listening in the first place.
You don't want to be there, and they don't want to be there, so just get the facts out in a concise and understandable manner and move on with life.
This right here. If you know your subject matter and you have an outline you should be golden. If you stumble with your words, just go "bleah bluh, excuse me" then correct yourself as you smile and chuckle and move on. Nobody cares.
