My fellow Poalers w/sub-par vision: where do you get your prescription eye wear?

The place I normally go to bought out and changed, not interested in the new place. I've heard the little outlets in Costco are well priced and decent places. I have also seem a half-dozen or so online shops peddling their wares.

What say you?

If you have frames you like, check eBay for spares. You can often buy them for 1/3 to 1/6 of your eye doctor. I like a particular kind, and bought a half-dozen spare frames for the price of one.

The sellers on eBay selling them for $40-50 are still making a killing, Luxottica wholesales them for a few bucks.
