Here's another. Michigan's borders go as far east as Asheville, NC and further west than St. Louis, MO. It would take about 10 hours to get from Lambertville (located in the southeast corner of the Lower Peninsula) to Ironwood (located in the far western edge of the Upper Peninsula).
