I use Facebook for bartering and finding other buyers and sellers for my special interests. It's a tool. Unfortunately it is connected to all that globohomo shit but there is no other forum marketplace and dedicated groups that I could substitute it.

Me, too. My bf uses it to keep in touch with his father and sister. He's not really close enough to them to do frequent phone calls, but a chat every once in a while seems to work for them. I've never had a fb account except for my audiobook narration. I don't really bother with it because I don't "get it," but I had multiple authors say they wouldn't work with me unless I had one.

It's gross how many still use it, the only person I know with a good excuse is my friend who owns a small car lot, he needs it for advertising and to it was central to his business during the pandemic and lockdowns because people wouldn't come in person until they had bought the car.

I still use LifeLog, I have red pilled a few, and jew pilled a few, but mainly it is a way to keep up with my relatives in Europe. I access it via vpn, and do not post any truly personal data.
