I think they played their hand as well as they could have. If they stayed in the war longer, they could not have invaded the USA and they would have gotten nuked. His best bet would have been to play way more chill, not be anywhere near as militaristic. If he didn’t expand his colonization as much, the UK would have left him alone. Tbh he also fucked up with the Jews. Not sure what else he could have done but like offering all of them a free ride to America and then sinking the whole convoy and blaming it on Russia comes to mind. No invasion of Poland but drum up the red menace and offer to defend Poland from the soviets. The Russians are shit on the offensive, good at defensive. If the Germans were fortified in Poland with millions of polish allied troops they wouldn’t be able to shit.
