My dad had a '55 chev he traded for a '60 ford station wagon after the family grew to 4 kids. I tormented him with that decision for the rest of his life.
Lol , as you should

Why, my first car that I worked for and paid for, of course..... a '70 Ford Pinto. I loved that little bugger.
My first was an AMC Gremlin
1960's citroen
What appealed most to you about it ?
A friend tried to sell me his 1970 426 Hemi Challenger with dual quads, cast Iron headers, slap stik shifter and Sure-Grip differential for $5000. It would get about 5MPG when we were out racing around.
I told him to go Fuck himself. Gas had just hit $1.20 a gallon...
Lol , I remember when gas hit 0.68 a gallon and my Dad flipping out. They actually started rationing , you had a red or blue sticker that dictated what days you could purchase gas.
When I graduated H.S. you could pick up muscle cars for like 500 bucks , they'd need work but it was shit you could do yourself. It was a great time to be a teenager
I wouldn't trade those days for anything.
My uncle's 63 Sting Ray, his wife's 72 Sting Ray, their children's Corvettes (late C3 and a C4), the daughter's IROC Z-28 he bought her after he felled a tree on her Vette. One of his sons had a 69 Z/28 I helped restore. They had a Diesel El Camino, which is probably the most meh car in this list. A Square Body Chevy K or C pickup we called The Beast...the other son had a lifted Square Body Blazer with a foot shaped pedal I thought was cool even though I could barely climb in it.
I need an El Camino so I can stick a DirtyMax in it.
My first car, a baby blue with white vynil top, 73 dodge dart swinger. She was my little Christine with a 318.
Having to leave 20 bucks on the seat to get the smog to pass.
I had so many Dart's , with slant6 motors , great cars.
My dad had a Grand national, my mom had a Nissan 300zx turbo. My brother had an Irocz in the 90's. All 3 cars won races at Fountain ave. in Brooklyn when white people used to race there.
Grand Nationals were sick bro ! My mother's 2nd husband had one , had 20k orig miles. He croaked in the Holocough cuz he was an obeast .
I wasn't a car head so dodge viper and porsche 911
My dad's 78 tbird with hideaway lights and ttops
Subaru Brat !
My dad once had this '99 LX 470 with polished wooden finishes on the interior and the best leather seating. Unfortunately he had to get rid of it once gas prices went up.
