I went in for a physical last week. Doc says I have hypothyroidism. I think he wants to start me on pills, which I hate. I feel fine. Just curious what other people have done and their experiences

You may have Hashimoto's disease. Get your doctor to check for that. I'm going to go get it checked myself.

I know I don't have it -- I've never been anywhere near Hashimoto.

Someone else might have got it and it spread from there. A friend of a friend of a friend, etc...
