I have a hypothesis... which is, most (if not all) Poalers are analysts... If you think the Myers-Briggs personality types are bullshit, feel free to move along. Personally, I think it's legit as it nailed my personality with scary accuracy and I've consistently seen it do the same with others. If you don't know your personality type, you can find out for free here: https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test I'll be transparent and go first: I'm an INTP. EDIT: because the poll limits me to 10 total choices and there are 16 personality types, I have to lump them together by subtype...

But INTs make horrible CEOs. The world needs both and for people to stop trying to make everybody else in their image.

For sure, I would make a horrible CEO, or even mid level manager. Hell, don't even take me to help buy a car, I'll likely negotiate the price higher because I'm extremely agreeable. There is a place for other personality types, but when these traits go way out on the tails of the distribution, you end up with people who are just fucking toxic. For INTs its generally less of a problem for those around them, as INTs who are out on the edge of the distribution tend to keep totally to themselves and don't end up hurting a bunch of people in an orgy of narcissistic lust for fame and power.

The current CEO of my work is definitely not an introvert, but he's also not a total fucking psycho either. He would be a terrible programmer though, just as I would be a terrible CEO or salesman. Different skill sets suit different jobs.
