Speeding.

Rolling through a stop light.

Smoking a joint.

Doing a line of cocaine.

Shooting up heroin.

Paying for a blowjob from a consenting adult.

Posting unpopular opinions on the Internet.

Saying the Holocaust was fake.

Etc.

I feel like every almost every motorized vehicle these days is capable of moving faster than a negro is capable of thinking. A nigger on a bicycle is a crime.

A nigger on a bicycle is a crime.

Well, sure, because he stole the bicycle.

Speeding is a victimless crime until you cause an accident. It's not so black and white.

100 million drivers speed everyday. The odds of the speeding, itself, causing an accident is pretty low.

Cell phones in cars are much more dangerous.

And.. of course... the government isn't looking to make you safe, it's looking to make money off of you.

If the government cared even a tiny little bit about its citizens safety, maybe I'd change my tune on speeding. But, as it stands, most of it is about trampling your rights and making you feel okay about it.

The problem is speed limits do not make sense in a lot of areas. 80 mph on a clear day traveling on a lightly trafficed highway should not be speeding.

The same road with weather conditions and traffic then 60 mph might be too fast.

Ah, but the accident is the crime (property damage, bodily injury, manslaughter) and not the speeding.

True, but if the speeding laws are shown to reduce those instances of property damage and more importantly death. Is it not a good thing?

I suppose you have to consider our society. In better world all of our citizens would behave responsibly and drive in a way that does not create undue risk. We know we can't expect that out of our current population.

And pointing a loaded gun at people in a crowd is victimless if you don't pull the trigger, right?

I think you need to reconsider this list.

The first five impact others. I don't wanna hear shit about privacy of your own home. It does.

As far as prostitution, I'd rather not live in a society where girls grow up and aspire only to sell pussy.

The last two are not crimes.
