I am the type where I inherently have very high standards, but with life experience I have learned to not set myself up for disappointment and understand that often people aren’t trying to not meet you, we are very limited in being able to communicate what we truly envision within and life limits what we are in control of. One must learn to balance wanting to be exceptional with flowing and improvising around real life which does not give a flying fuck about how we feel or what is in our heads. I also keep business business, separate from pleasure, and keep business morals compartmentalized from my personal life. You can curate your friends but that is about it. Sometimes you have to ask yourself if your expectations are realistic for what to expect from most other people and if what you want is really “out there” in the first place. Don’t get me wrong. People fuck up. All the time. Just don’t be a dick to people even if they fucked up. Shit happens.
I agree. Which is why I clearly stated I wasn't rude and just gave them informing feedback.
I agree, which is why I clearly stated I am always polite, leave the food and go.
