I know that, but they're lying to me about my profile. I've had plenty that lied about the jobs, but it seems more commonplace now to make up stuff about the candidate before you even talk to them.
I did contracting for a long, long time and it seems to me that the main trait required to be a recruiter is compulsive lying. The type who simply lies about anything and everything if they thinks it gives them an advantage somehow. Really, it is just like a dog barking, a duck quacking, or a jew molesting babies. It's just what you can expect them to do.
It is. It's just tiresome at times. I'd give them a polite "No thank you" if they'd have contacted me in a more civilized manner.
I have a lot of contracting stories. One time there was a job at a place I did NOT want to work at, I know a lot of people in my little engineering contracting world and know all about that place. I repeatedly said I was not interested and was working on trying to get one of 4 or 5 other contracts and they kept offering higher and higher rates trying to get me there. Why? I suspect it because people currently working there were asked about me by the hiring manager who told them to get me. Know the sleazy game they played? They called my home when they knew I was at work and tried to get me into trouble with my wife by telling her how much an hour I was turning down. THEN when I called their manager and read them the riot act they naturally denied it all and was literally calling my wife a liar. Engineering recruiters are literally the most jewish people I have ever dealt with. I got them in trouble by calling the hiring manager and told him what they did and why I won't go there....
