Because they are trying to "buy" top quality asset for the lowers price they can.
Had an online job interview with the "big company" today. According to the interview guy, everything went great and they will find a suitable position for my skills and give me an official job offer within the next few days. So far I only had face to face interviews and they would tell me on the spot if I got it or not, is this some new crap they do now?
This isn't even an interview, this is just the recruiter and yes, it's very common. Been that way for a long time.
I still get emails saying that "Here's a position, we also called and left a voicemail..."
Bitch, modern phones record all calls. You didn't call.
I guess I'll keep looking then. Hate these videocall interviews, can't really tell what you are getting yourself into if you can't see how their office is organized and how managers are carrying themselves.
I've been fortunate to not have any of those.
