Got this just a bit ago:

"Hi stupidbird, this is Anna with jobrecruiter. I found your resume on ziprecruiter and I'd like to call you about a low-rent job that's so far below your skill level that it's not going to pay anywhere near what you're making. What's a good time to call?"

My reply:

"Hi Anna, I don't have a resume on ziprecruiter, if there's one there it's been placed without my permission. Can you send me a link?"

No reply of course, and I haven't used that email address in about two years due to it being in one of the many, many LinkedIn breaches. Why would you start out a contact with a direct lie? I realize it's a template but still. It makes you look really bad and lazy and I certainly don't want to speak with you.

Hello my friend. This is Rajendra , I have an opportunity for top notch placement in a career that is just right for you . Please to be calling me back important for interview to candidate for this exciting new opening position.

Fucking everybody uses dot heads and goat raping Pakis for their recruiting. It's absolutely horrible.

[–] 0 pt

Everyone does it because it's so cheap and there are millions of indians that have barely passable English that will take abuse all day for a few bucks.

[–] 1 pt

How cheap is it really tho , when most people don't even bother with the hassle of trying to decipher what the hell they're saying ?

[–] 1 pt

It's cheap enough that they can hire a building full of Indians that do nothing but spam people all day. I assume if they get a response it makes their day.

They make money only if you take their job. There are no laws or consequences for them if they lie to you and screw you over beyond you leaving said job which only means they don't keep getting a cut of your hourly. The lower they get you to take the job for the more that they pocket an hour for your time. The company pays the job shop the same no matter what.

[–] 1 pt

I know that, but they're lying to me about my profile. I've had plenty that lied about the jobs, but it seems more commonplace now to make up stuff about the candidate before you even talk to them.

I did contracting for a long, long time and it seems to me that the main trait required to be a recruiter is compulsive lying. The type who simply lies about anything and everything if they thinks it gives them an advantage somehow. Really, it is just like a dog barking, a duck quacking, or a jew molesting babies. It's just what you can expect them to do.

It is. It's just tiresome at times. I'd give them a polite "No thank you" if they'd have contacted me in a more civilized manner.

How else are (((they))) going to recruit white men to die in an army if they don't lie?

[–] 2 pts

The lie only goes as far as the actual product. I've had plenty of things that looked great on paper that turned out to be a "Why the fook are you giving me this pile of shit?"

A lot of times recruiters get paid either based on applicants, or they get commission from hires. They are basically sales people. The recruiters with the best jobs even get residuals, meaning they basically get like $1 an hour from every employee they recruit, which can end up being a lot of money. Their company will get $10-$15 an hour for what you work. They have all kinds of tricks

[–] 1 pt

Of course. This one, however, started their crap off by making things up about me.

[–] 1 pt

they often get paid commission, the recruiters you find on linkedin, zip recruiter, or some other job site try to lure you in then sell you to the company for some crazy fee.

they're a waste of time to deal with, I talk to them just to waste their time and see what they say. If i actually wanted the job i'd simply apply for myself and talk to the company.

[–] 1 pt

It's probably a fishing scam.

[–] 0 pt

The company and job are real, they advertise all the time. I think it's a low effort post on the recruiter's part.

[–] 1 pt

If I were a scammer I would use a real company name and offer a job they already posted.

[–] 0 pt

I've had a job through this recruiter in 2001, that's why they have my name. It's just a low-effort shitpost on their part.

[–] 1 pt

Was your recruiter even white?

[–] 1 pt

That's the only contact I had with it. I have no idea.

[–] 1 pt

You know exactly why, so I’m assuming it is rant/rhetorical question?

…Because they work on commission and they have a shitty product to sell, and if they told you the truth about their product they’d be looking for a new job

[–] 0 pt

I know, it was just a discussion point.

I love it when they make up stuff about what I am or where they found me, and present that to me.

They are farming. Those jobs aren't real. Do not give them any of your information.

[–] 0 pt

This particular job is real, it's a company that's always looking for panel techs.

I've dealt with this recruiter in the past, they're just idiots.

[–] 1 pt

They do it because they’re the lowest common denominator retards or low iq brownies playing the volume game.
