I live-in minnesota, and 1, people here think "the cold keeps the riff raff away" all year round. 2 people here are only passive aggressive at best. Fucking cowards. 3 Duluth and Minneapolis control the entire state when it comes to voting. The rest of the stare is republican.

This big city controls state thing is a plague across the country. Even California is red as fuck if you take away the big cities. We need to get real about creating some states that don't have major cities. When you're looking to relocate make sure your state doesn't have large urban areas with enough population to override the rest of the state, now or in your lifetime.

I expressed dissatisfaction when Marco Rubio spoke Spanish on Television just now and was promptly told off by my MN father. He said I was a resident of the wrong state (FL) if I didn't like Spanish. Well I've had it with this shit. I said our Constitution and history and laws and courts and all national discourse is English and anything else is illiteracy and pandering. I also told him that one day he'd be a resident of the wrong state too, right here in MN, his home. He'll be a second-class foreigner in his homeland because he's given it away to people who stick together by race, and he's not one of them. They come with their ideas of culture, religion, language, and government and make us do it their way. They're not immigrants who assimilate. They're invaders. There's no hope for them. He's lib with guns too. I say 2a ensures I have a right to the same rifle our government infantry carries, a select fire M4. MN dad says no you don't! WTF he taught me to shoot and hunt. He's full anti-dem, so at least we can still get along and I don't have to change my last name. But still it's not easy visiting anymore.

One thing you could use for him would be the fact that this was a 90% white nation up until the 90s. No State was a Spanish speaking state, and that highlights the problem you’re talking about

The last time I went to Minneapolis was about 10 years ago. Everywhere in Minneapolis had large packs of Somalians just standing around looking dumb. I can only imagine it has gotten a lot worse since then.
