in a software developer role they usually start with a 'pip' -- performance improvement plan.
I used to think i was in the wrong or i was not doing enough.. fuck it they do that when you arent compliant and think that they dont have power over u. I have always been someone who speaks my mind and management doesnt like that.
After 30 day pip they keep you in a state of 'if u dont improve we will fire u' and then any little mess up if they dont want you they'll fire you.
When you get HR involved on you just walk away dont sign anything and quit if you can afford to. Else start looking for a new job.
