Because white, black, etc. are bullshit terms and don't define a people. Aryan, Norse, Slavic, etc. do.
That is stupidest comment I read in awhile, especially considering you are the one who used the term white, and White should be capitalized.
Do you type "that is a White car" or "that orange is Orange"? Color is an adjective. "White" and "black" and similar adjectives are used to help erase peoples' identities. I get that some see "White" as a proper noun name for a people but for me it is a descriptor because it is so broad.
