My suspicions would lead me to believe it's not a single person, but a team of people dedicated to pushing an agenda, pushing the people on this site to think and feel a certain way about others, events and how they see the world in general.

Or, it's just a single dude with too much time on their hands OR, a single dude who's become incredibly efficient at disseminating information and they enjoy doing it.

I consider it reddit behavior definitely a mixture of autism/shills/etc. I think it's gay and retarded to be a "poweruser" on a forum, let alone moderating all day for free. Keep in mind we live in the age of "influencers" and it sucks ass. Seems like these people are either actively being paid to shill or they think their internet points will translate into something of value in the future. So yeah everything is extremely fake and gay at the moment.

I work from home and just post w/ a keybound macro. I can click on any article in my feed and autofill it's contents to poal submission page. I wrote and listed them in the bookmarklets sub. But if you're concerned about my content there's the block feature. 'control the content' not trying to, if you look at the front page you'll notice I mostly stay outta default subs so I don't fill it up.

to work from home? ofc i'm paid for that. Not for posting here. the compulsion to dick around working from home is way stronger. My workdays are generally longer and reading the news is something i do on and off all day. I use feedly w/ it's ai rss features to deliver all content to me. I don't browse webpages. It's all just there in a list w/ the crap filtered out. I think my politics feed is idk i'm guessing that's like 80 sites it pulls content from. and a handful of twitter feeds but only posts w/ external links. I have a comp sci degree. Ur thinking about it how you browse the web. Any post I make on this site generally takes me 2 or 3 clicks b/c i'm not manually pasting anything in very often.

What do you think would be their reason for such behavior?

There are lots of reasons. They vary from mundane positives to negatives.

These ideas are off the top of my head in no real order;

  • It could be a hobby.

  • It could be to manipulate the userbase.

  • It could be to covertly advertise things.

  • It could be their full time job as a human intelligence operative.

Would I be concerned?

That would depend on what kinds of things they are posting.

At the end of the day if their content is not obtrusive or harmful and if they don't treat their subs like some kind of fiefdoms I wouldn't give a fuck and would thank them for providing content.

I wouldn't be able to abide them if they were censorious.

If they are not posting individually identifiable things then their usernames should be linked with a common flair or something if they're ok with it. I would hate for a random person with an unusual hobby to have some other nut on the Internet attack them IRL.

It would be a weird ass hobby though.

There is no reason to post content on multiple alts other than the intention to make it seem more organic than it is. That sort of behaviour should warrant a perma ban. If you don't stamp it out this place turns into reddit.
