Soybean oil is a highly processed seed oil that is not safe for human consumption.
They use hexanes (petroleum ether) as a solvent to extract the soybean oil after heating the beans. Hexanes are widely used as an industrial cleaner and degreaser. They can cause permanent nerve damage. Finally they hydrogenate the oil turning it into a 'trans fat', and making it inflammatory to your body, likely causing cancer.
Soy used as a protein contains a shit load of phytoestrogens, which act like female sex hormones in your body. These are in a lot of food items like beans and such, but are more highly concentrated in soy. It's probably not a good idea to use soy as your main source of protein. It's not going to do much you if you eat it occasionally, but don't eat it every day.
Soy sauce is fine in moderation. I think the fermentation reduces the hormone levels. The naturally fermented stuff is not processed with toxic chemicals, at least as far as we know.
Love this explanation. the way to avoid the hydrogenated oils is to basically eat mostly unprocessed foods, correct? Because they put it in nearly everything...
Indeed! Processed foods are poison.
All the food is poison(https://youtu.be/_Re6pZri8Gw)
Yes, you should never, ever eat processed foods, regardless of what is on the label. It's all goy slop made in a factory. Even if it starts out OK, within a year or two it will be full of chemical preservatives and seed oils to cut costs. Unless you are an industry expert around food labeling, I wouldn't trust it.
Thus is the answer. I cannot eat soybeans or soybeans oil because it treats my intestines up. Soy sauce is 100% fine.
Yes, also remember to use traditionally fermented soy sauce, without the added (gmo) wheat ingredient.
Fermented soy sauce is not available everywhere. I have looked in my grocery stores for years and have never found it. Gave up on soy sauce
IkR, found some at my local in the 'Exotic foods', just the other day, some niche Japanese brand non-wheat - purified water and zero artificial additives/ colorings etc was three times the price of 'normal' soy sauce brands.
Soybeans
oil...
FTFY. Even properly fermented soy is (relative to real food) extremely unhealthy.
