It'll go down. I decided not to wait, and bought the first place I found that checked 90% of my criteria's boxes. Cost me like 350k at 6%, but whatever. I'm happier here now, and since I'm not useless like a lot of my generation, I can afford it.

That's great to hear, several of my kids had / have same situation.
One is in a mobile home but on 35 acres of deep woods, the other a really nice house with a pool backed to a nice bayou for under a million, I dunno how he got it that cheap.
