Sting KISS Motley Crew

and the worst of all, Guns and fuckin Roses. Trash.

I fucking hated KISS waaayyy back in the before time , when all my long haired dipshit friends thought they were the greatest !

My opinion hasn't changed

Back then, coming out of the uniformity of the 60s, going into the hippie late 60s early 70s, which led to disco, I can see and understand WHY a band such as KISS was as big as it was. A total middle finger to the status quo. Something so far outside the lines it was revelatory. But it wasn't good music then and it definitely isn't good music now. It was their "style" that put them on the map.

KISS was such tame ass music. But you're right, the stage show, the corpse paint, wild outfits and antics were what shot them to worldwide fame. People saw their magazine covers and assumed they were some extreme, Satanic-sounding band. Pfft. They weren't. They were a standard rock band, that's it.

I just thought it was fake and gay This was before I was Jewpilled Now I just see it as degenerate mass marketing to the goyim

Gene Simmons is a Jew, lead singer of rush is a Jew, lead singer of twisted sister I believe is a Jew. Lead singer of van Halen is a Jew.

Meh! Name some bands WITHOUT jews if you want to impress people.

Sting is phenomenal. Perhaps you don't care about [pop] vocals. I also enjoy Palestrina. But seeing Sting live was one of the top handful of musical experiences I've had.

Maybe you don't like how touchy-feely a lot of the songs are?

Growing up I had a friend who called "Every Breath You Take" the "Stalker Song". Which is totally accurate. But there's just something about him. Overrated may not be the best word. Don't like may be more apt.

I went to college in Chicago and was walking around millennium park randomly one day about 15 years ago. There was a Sting concert that night, but as I walked past mid day Sting was doing an audio test. It was just me and him and some audio engineers, he played us a private show for about 30 mins. One of the coolest things I’ve experienced.

The Beatles The Rolling Stones Queen

Here are a couple I think don't get the attention they deserve: The Animals Gino Vannelli

Animals tunes are generally excellent.

Hold on...

Eighties is NOT classic rock! That was the end of good music; it was anything goes because everybody was sick of fucking disco.

Genesis, for example, from "Abacab" on (maybe it was Duke) were extremely overrated. But Wind and Wuthering, Selling England, their 70s albums, were unfortunately ignored by the radio stations. They were brilliant. The same thing with Yes (90125 was the beginning of the end,) Boston (3rd stage,) Kansas (Vinyl Confessions,) Rush (Signals,) and so on.

ALL bands in the 80s were overrated.

Except Dire Straits

Neil Young, Joe Walsh, and any of the various bands they played with.

[–] 3 pts

Joe Walsh was arite Neil Young was way overrated , but had some decent stuff , but alot of annoying shit too

[–] 2 pts

Iron Maiden hands down.

[–] 2 pts

Queen.

Beatles, Elton John, Ted Nugent, Rush...

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Lyrically Ted and rush are a ah no but musically both can be jamming good in a properly setup system using a remasteded digital copy. With proper leveling and such

Marilyn Manson is a musical and lyrical genius the way he modeled so many with his wild imaging twisting of idols, ideas and perception of self. He made Satan popular again Manson and slipknot are trash but modelled society and social construction heavily.

[–] 0 pt

Ted Nugent really?

[–] 0 pt

Not a fan.

I get it. I had to listen to a few other songs. He's not my top but I do like a few songs from him. And he's not some libtard.
