Advice for your child starting out in life, spoken in a Yorkshire accent:

"Stay in your own socio-economic class, little Billy. It's safe there. What's the use of trying to rise through the social order when you will only find yourself in a higher tax bracket with more responsibilities and expectations of other people on your back?

"You take the low road, son, like your father and his father before him. A working man has no responsibilities. The government is there for whatever you need. All you have to do is vote for them every few years, and they will watch over you from cradle to grave. Let the aristocratic class do its own thing and you do yours. We'll see who ends up happier in the end.

"Don't strive, little Billy. Never let your reach exceed your grasp, and you'll never fall into the deep waters. Just look at your mom and dad. You don't see them owning huge estates or running big companies, do you, lad? Look at how content they are, once they've had a drink or two in the evening.

"Follow my advice, little Billy, and you'll never have to fail as long as you live. It's as your Uncle Albert alway says, 'When you're at the bottom there's nowhere to fall.' Now stop picking your nose and eat your chips like a good little bugger."
