I'm an atheist and I think all religion evolved out of superstition and ignorance and is now used to control people through various means. The world would be better off of it were eradicated and people were guided by natural empathy and yearning to do and be good. Those who don't have that natural inclination are to be eradicated as well.

youre an intelligent person ans understand the meaning behind thr message. most people are dumb and would not be able to understand the teachings behind a religion and apply it without it being as simple as it is in religious book. "be good" is a tough one to decypher, even being intelligent and good hearted. so instead they took their version of being good, put it all in this little jesus persona, and rolled with it so everyone could understand.
