The power companies where I live have the power to prevent the thermostat from going down to 70°. Between the hours of 2pm to 7pm my house is constantly 73-74° no matter what the thermostat is set to. I blame the iot thermostat and power companies being in kahoots.

That sucks. I use to love in the mountains and still can't sleep if it's in the 80s or sometimes upper 70s.
