7 11 in melbourne actually have decent sandwiches. nothing flash but they *are* very fresh, and while their street pies *are* still dirty they still shit all over that four and twenty "meat pie" shite from a very great height. they get as close to a steak bake as i can actually find in aus, theres a butter chicken flavoured one and a pepper steak one i think theyre mrs macs that if they did without the 'pepper' id stoked, havent seen them anywhere else. their 'delivered fresh daily' pastries and shit are not any of that and usually stale as fuck. wouldnt trust sushi from anywhere, i dont know people eat that shit. i work all over and outside of town every day at completely random places, if on my own ill fuck off for lunch somewhere but carpooling in theres always an iced coffee/lunch stop on the way in because were all stuck on site. the sandwiches at the other petrol stations are generally shite so thats where the boss stops s i dont whinge.
