Its kinda hilarious how in assasinations videos, in South America, particularly Brazil, the killer pistol jams in the middle of heat , after a few rounds.

How frequent is this, or is it due to poor maintenance ? Maybe shitty old pistols who should be retired ?

It depends on the pistol and weather it gets maintained or not. Dirty surplus ammo would be a big factor as well. I ran 5000 rounds through a Glock 17 without cleaning, using modern ammo, to see if it would do it. It did.
