Female survival strategy requires a man that is, simultaneously, good at warfare (dangerous) and a good father (beta qualities) and a great physical specimen that can produce healthy babies (good looking).
Those three qualities are am impossibility statistically so women are always trying to optimize for the possibility of maximizing all three. This explains monkey branching as well as why they will seek the dangerous guy for fun but settle down with a beta.

This is literally false. There are infinite number of tests that prove women are HIGHLY motivated by looks to the point that women will organize them selves into harems for a male with the the optimal mix of all three.
