At the very least you should always assume that, whatever the "Officially Approved Narrative" is, about *anything*, that is the ONE thing that is *absolutely guaranteed* to NOT be true. They even lie about things they don't even have to lie about, even when the truth would better serve their purposes, just for the purpose of generating stray voltage, competing narratives, and undermining the overall signal to noise ratio. If all "truth" is equally suspect, then all information flow is treated as if it is equally false. At that point people could scream the absolute truth straight into a sheep's face, with live video attached, and the sheep just treats it as part of the usual background noise. And nothing is more objectively "true" or "false" than anything else. And that is the objective. If you can't exercise absolute control over the message, then skew the signal to the point where nothing is trusted. Including the objective truth.
