Because 60-70 years ago (((they))) started telling young women that being a wife and mother was demeaning and a form of slavery. Women could go to college and be anything they chose, and compete in the job market with men. Historically salary/wages graphed together with rising GDP. But around 1970 salary flattened out while GDP continues to rise, due to more women joining the workforce, so employers didn't have to compete for workers. https://www.epi.org/productivity-pay-gap/ Now modern western women think they are equal to men in all aspects of life, and no longer try to be attractive. Just look what they have done to media, Sport Illustrated used to feature beautiful, slim, athletic women, now they trot out a morbidly obese creature and tell us that is the ultimate in female beauty. Eastern European women are still living in a society that values motherhood and families, they know that the way to attract the best possible partner is thru their appearance and demeanor.
I understand what you're saying. But why won't women realize the workforce is the ultimate form of slavery while being a wife and mother is more liberating and spirtually rewarding? You would think they would realize that staying at home with their family or being a housewife while their husband works is grand living.
How could people believe that being obese is beautiful when it's linked to such negative health effects and gross habits? Are humans psychologically vulnerable enough to not recognize true beauty and good health?
