We have a captive jew that AOU hits with a stick to knock gold coins out of.
Probably more stable than Guam.
I believe it is on donations... If you recall form the donation thread, something was mentioned how we gave enough to cover some length of time or some such.
I am too lazy to go dig up the bee thread again.

We all float down here
Hosting is not nearly as expensive as it used to be. With plenty of fast backbone capacity, most hosts are not charging exorbitant sums of money for bandwidth and many plans include unlimited bandwidth these days. Unless you do something stupid like host with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google, etc.) you can get away relatively cheap with some good hosts out there. It's not like it was back in the 90s where everything was expensive and you had to pay big money to rent a dedicated server. Today you can get that cheap and quick either as a VPS or a real server even. Domains are cheap too, unlike the early days where it cost $70 to get a domain from Network Solutions who was the only game in town at the time.

It's all about code optimization.
It's important to remind (new) poalrs that Poal started off of a , the same base that was used in the early days of ( , love you guys, no homo :P ).
Every time we had to test a new feature, we did it on Poal instances running on Pi2/3 (lol) and on Boobs server (donated by pembo), and if it was running fine, that would mean it was showtime ready.
I remember Boobs refreshing Poal as I was uploading the new code. He couldn't wait to see it running live, just like a kid eager to play with his new Christmas toy :D
Poal-lore is the best lore.
Happy Ocho de Poal, Boobs.
Seems slow today
It's a Fed honeypot , or something nefarious with Jews or something
Donations I think? would know the breakdown.
I donated some Dogecoin once
I see your little icon. I have one too. It wasn’t much, but I intend to have a financial bounce back soon after a relocation. I like this place.
Water wings
Donations, as far as I'm aware. It is an "extra" paycheck month, so one should be coming from me in the next couple of weeks. Won't be as much as I actually want to donate because reason below.
Would donate more often and in larger sums if it weren't such a hassle; options are crypto or some subscribe place that only lets you give $10/mo. $10 isn't enough. Would like a return to the days where I could dump $100-$200 on Poal every so often, but I'm sure there's a reason beyond my knowledge. I think it was called "square" or some shit like that. Was easy, the way I think it ought to be.
Most I can give at once through Bitcoin is a little less than $50 without alerting the authorities, and I have to drive far to get to the BTC ATM. Last time I used the software to work with it, it kept crashing. It feels like way too much work/time to donate, when I have such little free time.
I'm not saying things should change to suit my preferences. I'm sure there are reasons why it is the way it is that are beyond my limited understanding. There is "they way I'd like things to be" and "the way it has to be."
Perhaps I should just get over my stubbornness and just do the $10 subscription thing.
EDIT: Done. Subscribed. Just realized you can easily "tip" any amount you'd like once subscribed.
The tip thing should be emphasized.
What’s the under $50 alert authorities thing you’re talking about? How’s that work. My first donation was in crypto and I sent it through my Coinbase. Fuck it. There’s nothing illegal here. Well, not in this country at least. It may be different for other countries.
When I try to go over $50 in cash, I have to start answering a list of personal questions and have my identity verified. Ok, so I don't know for sure if it will alert the authorites, but why the hell would they ask if they weren't doing just that? No doubt in my mind that's the reason they want to know exactly who I am... so they can snitch me out.
Oooooh. Well, $40 today. $20 some other time. I dunno. But yeah, I totally get that.
I have quite a few of those machines around. I’d imagine they save your photo with your transaction info. Just a hunch. You could always pop a mask on and for a couple minutes as I still see a few people around here wearing masks which is really weird but doesn’t bother me unless it’s a nigger because they love the criminal aspect of masking up.
If Poal can save crypto donations right now, I do believe the cash value of them will rise again. BTC at $20k right now is wild.
