I am composing a yodeling themed ballad utilizing a rake with rubber bands attached as instrumentation. It is 176 minutes long and chronicles the history of the marionette, the grand canyon, hoover dam, hotdogs, beer and the alamo. It's also a 1.2 GB file so far but I'll post it when I'm finished my magnum opus.

Usually on Saturday & Sunday I am busy with production work for online orthodox services. Not making excuses, but you asked...

Every time I have seen a FNGT, I have listened to and upvoated ALL original creations. I have come to recognize all the names there and find the camaraderie between the people there to be comfortable and uplifting. I certainly appreciate the talent there, but more than likely won't start participating until I switch back to day shift.

I have been an inquirer in Orthodoxy Christianity for the past few years, reading up on the theology and beliefs. There isn't a church in my area, and I'm not crazy about the parish that is somewhat close. You mentioned you worked for online orthodox services. Could I get a link to watch some of those on sundays?

That's pretty stupid. As a teenager in the 90s I loved Silverchair and the Vines. Now I really dig Tame Impala. Aussies make some of the best music in my opinion.

Man, I want to, terribly so but I don't want to dox myself. I'm proud of the music I write but am just worried that it will come back to bite me in the ass. I could record covers for FNGT but no one wants to hear covers...

This is exactly why I don’t just throw up some sax noodling. “Worried” a sound recording can be signature matched by some other recording in the house etc.

I've always wanted to post there. Recording a song is a pain though. Maybe I should just take a shitty phone recording instead of trying to set up my mic.

Theodore Kent wrote a song and I promised to make music for it. I'll try to get to it soon.

Because although I can play a few songs with a few mistakes, I cannot actually play an instrument. Although I can create things in FL Studio and know what all the buttons and knobs do, I don't have the ear for melodies. It is very much forced. Put me in a group of real musicians and ask me to play along, I'd be totally lost. Ask me to create a good song, I'll output trash.flp. So I won't "fake" being a musician, not going to pretend to be something I'm not.

Many famous 'musicians' have no clue, just the right look. Elvis never wrote a song, and could barely play guitar.
