I may seem new but I've been perusing Voat, 8chan, when they were around,Telegram and even Poal previously.

As you know, some of us come from different eras. So, what might seem like dark humor to some, others may take it differently, at least at first.

None of us are ever 100 percent in a good mood all the time. I get that.

I just wish, we could all just get along or at least try.

Is that possible or am I asking to much?

I never liked Reddit. I liked Pol on 8chan But I only observed. I also liked Voat. I mainly observed there too until the end when all the chaos was going on. It scared me. I'm a girl, btw.

There will always be those who disagree with an established ruleset, believe themselves to be above the law. Our admin is a strict enforcer of the our rules. No, he isn't omnipresent, therefore he can't catch everything... but he's very good with applying the law equally across the board. I could donate a thousand bucks today, break the rules later on, and still expect to get my head cracked, so to speak. Or at the very least -100 and a Tyrone, of course all depending on the severity. Then of course there are some actions that warrant a complete IP ban, however effective/non-effective that may be.

When the punishment does get doled out for transgression, many tend to take it personally. Instead of acknowledging their fuckup and being reasonable about it, they run over to TLOL, make cryposts about it, and then proceed to dialate. The admin here is a very reasonable dude. I've been a minor acquaintance of his for about 7 years now. He definitely does restore site privileges to reasonable users willing to adhere to the code set forth in the ToS. Not only does he forgive and forget, he would even call you "brother" afterward, as we all witnessed recently. Respect!

From my observation over the years, this strict, equal enforcement, is where all of the "hate" stems from. These individuals hold a personal grudge against the Poal admin, and furthermore they detest the userbase here simply because we have not broken the rules; in their eyes we are submissive to the admin personally (not the code) and thus all deserving of "hate."

I do hope those who have maybe had issues with us in the past get over it and return with a more understanding attitude. There is strength in numbers, and we all share a common ethos.

Tim Pool was talking about Rumble's ideas for transparent moderation, that it was more of a community led thing so users have a say in whether a post breaks the rules

I don't think it's relevant here because Poal seems relaxed to me, but as an idea for a future reclaimed internet it sounded positive? BigTech's current system of opaque and biased moderation really only pushes people towards /pol

I make a point of reposting everything from a new account whenever the DM mods delete me, because when I get reported it's likely to be from a Leftie objecting to my opinion, so I don't consider the WrongThink to be valid

I do worry that BigTech will eventually opt for more intelligent AI modbots instead, and then tune that to be anti White by default

umm, I'm not sure why that would be? I was kicked off a forum for repeatedly arguing with a sand nigger once, the mods did actually try and rein me in which was probably a positive move on their part to reduce the disruption, but a forum with too many liberals isn't the best place for me. I think the sand nigger was kicked too, I didn't go back to check. I would consider that fair enough.

We can't get along because anti-white hatred is being deliberately inflamed and encouraged for socio-political purposes, and at the same time many truths about race are being deliberately suppressed and forbidden by the same ruling class. Try talking truth about racial differences in IQ and see how far you get on corporate television news and talk programs. I avoided the news for two months straight. I only got my news from Telegram before coming back here. I too like most every one here as well. I know what you mean about being crouchy, I feel that way when I feel anxiety. And too much news can make almost anyone anxious .

I do understand. I have a roku so don't watch regular TV. However, even the commercials I see occasionally keep mentioning equity, diversity and inclusion. The same mantra of the WEF. Oh, and I just saw a commercial by Laureal that said they'll be completely sustainable by 2030.
