Of course every day. But you get two choices let it eat you alive or make better choices in the future

[–] 2 pts

The future is shorter than the past.

[–] 3 pts

Even more reasons for not giving a fuck

I don't question things I've done, I live with the scares, because what can you do? Buy a time machine? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWYQcaJ1ol4

You know when you fucked up, things you did and didn't do

Twisting the knife in the wound isn't going to improve anything, and just like anybody else, you probably got pretty much everything wrong, including the things you think you got right

So yeah don't look back, and yes I shit on all the things of this world, that's my white privilege

Imagine a life with no mistakes, no trials, no suffering, no challenges, nothing to grow and learn from. What a horrible life that would be.

Life without sorrow is a life without happiness. Life without trials and challenges is a life without strength. Life without mistakes is a life without growth. Everything that you have done and endured in your entire life has built you into who you are today.

At the end of the day live your life as hard and as well as you can, get everything you can out of it and don't sweat the mistakes. Because the simple truth of the matter is this; when you're an old man you don't regret the things you did. You regret the things you DIDN'T do.

fuck thats pretty esoteric, pends on who you are and what you did.

[–] 0 pt

You regret the things you DIDN'T do.

This is a cliché. There are a ton of things I could have done and didn't do, and I'm glad I had the good sense not to do them. I don't want to do any of them. They were stupid and wrong. Thank God I was able to figure that out and avoid doing them.

Not Frank Sinatra.

[–] 2 pts

Regrets, I've had a few But then again, too few to mention I did what I had to do I saw it through, without exemption

[–] 0 pt

Exactly lol. Well it was written for Sinatra, wonder if Paul Anka had any regrets.

[–] 0 pt

Sinatra was a guinea mafia jew puppet who sucked jew cock for fame and fortune. ...damn good singer, tho.

Wait, did I do your mother?

If you dont have one foot in the grave your a sick mutherfucker.

[–] 2 pts

No, it was totally worth it. I'd do it again.

[–] 1 pt

I probably would too, whos the stupid one now?

[–] 1 pt

Join me in stupidity, brother. We'll soldier on when everyone else has turned back because they think it's impossible.

I was definitely a victim of propaganda as a kid, and held ridiculous opinions. Thankfully, it was long enough ago that I wasn't as retarded as most these days.

I also lived a pretty reprehensible lifestyle, before I found Christ.

You've got to accept though, that you're forgiven for your mistakes if you truly change. I know God forgives me, but I have a hard time forgiving myself most times.

Yesterday is history, and tomorrow's a mystery. Today is a gift; that's why it's called the present.

Man I have done some shit

Yes but I know I also take responsibility for what I’ve done when I do it so there is nothing to regret. I take the time to always do what’s right and always do / seek what is true.

I can tell you though, just deviating from this once can put a splinter / rotten vine in the whole rest of your life.

[–] 1 pt

Im happy you always chose right.

[–] 1 pt

Regret is something that doesn’t make sense to me unless you regretted it before you essentially did it. Otherwise you either knew it was “wrong” to do and took responsibility for it then. Or you didn’t know it was “wrong” to do and therefore can’t really regret it later.

[–] 1 pt

You of course learn much more by your regrets than successes.

[–] 1 pt

Do you really? I dont,

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Supposedly you learn more by your failures, that's what they say.

"I have not failed. I've just found 10000 ways that won't work." - Edison on the light bulb

Yeah I've learned much more by my failures than my (few) successes but then the successes were pretty significant.

[–] 1 pt

"but then the successes were pretty significant. "

Maybe thats it. :)

[–] 1 pt

I may die with disappointments, but never a single fucking regret.

[–] 0 pt

Man Im sorry, some of my regrets are my best memories.

[–] 1 pt

Do not sorrow in the slightest for me. I have plenty of great memories and will have plenty more.

I pray happiness and prosperity to you and yours.

[–] 1 pt

Rarely. What is done is done....or as Granny used to say "You can't uncook the rice" and "You can't unring the bell"! Regrets and remorse are a waste of time. It is allowing the past to rob the present. It's okay to learn from past mistakes, and endeavor never to repeat them. It ain't okay to dwell and brood on them!

The only thing I question on the wrong side of 50 is pushing my body and not letting it heal properly. I'm suffering from injuries when I was like 14.

Talk to your kids and neices and nephews and tell them to take care of their bodies (particularly joints).

Of course, most of them are probably pre-diabetic and won't live long enough to have joint issues anyway.
