I fear that you are correct. I'm pretty good on weapons and ammo, since these have been a life long hobby. I also have training in their use. I have food, but not near enough. I can take a short walk and be hunting deer, feral hogs, and small game, but that's kind of a risk when everyone else is doing it. There is plenty of fire wood around. I'm glad I don't live in town...
